Areas of Activity
Forani invests its own capital in listed equities and convertible securities across Asia. Its activities take three forms. These are categories of activity rather than stages in a process, and the company may participate in any one of them independently of the others.
Forani subscribes for securities issued by publicly listed companies, on terms negotiated between issuer and investor. Convertible securities, which sit between debt and equity, are issued in this way.
Forani purchases listed shares in the secondary market. Such purchases are made for the company's own account and are assessed on the same criteria as any other transaction.
Forani undertakes other negotiated transactions involving publicly listed companies. Each is conducted on individually negotiated terms and is not directed at the general public.
